The Illinois Central returned to form in 1988 when the parent company, IC Industries, spun off the railroad into its own business once more. After selling off the rights to its old Green Diamond logo and dropping the 'Gulf' from ICG, the railroad wanted a new image - and so the deathstar was born. The Deathstar logo is now available on a 3" patch.
