Getting up at the crack of dawn, traversing dirt roads in the dark, and then climbing a large ridge, all while over a mile above sea level - that's enough to tire anyone out. The uncertainty and the long wait for our train had us questioning if we'd made the right calls for this trip. Yet, when a distant train horn only faintly sounded, and the hum of traction motors soon followed, we were struck with pure adrenaline - and relief! Just south of Dinosaur, Colorado, a trio of Deseret Power Railway E60s haul coal from the Deserado Mine to the power plant in the incredible western Colorado landscape. The long drive and all our efforts suddenly felt so worth it as we watched this elusive train trundle past.
This print has a partly glossy, partly matte finish, and is shipped rolled in a triangular tube-box. It does not include a frame, poster-only.
