"Good Herb" - Print
Buena Vista, a small town on the Norfolk & Western in Virginia, was host to a set of stunning N&W Color-Position-Light signals that lasted well over 50 years in service, guiding trains such as NS 304 every day. We happened to catch the newly minted NS 304s second ever run here, though 304 has since been cancelled and the signals currently under active replacement. Antennae and concrete stands beside the tracks are the death bell for this incredible vintage signals. This scene will never quite look the same after their removal.
